Welcome! I’m NANCY.

Nancy Labaki, M.A., CCC-SLP, owner and speech therapist at Northern Star Therapy Services in Bellville, OH

I’m a pediatric speech therapist with over 25 years of experience helping children build their communication skills. I started Northern Star Therapy to provide play-based and family-centered speech therapy for children in the Bellville, OH, community— and now, I lead a team of passionate speech therapists who share my mission!

If there are signs that something might be off, it's best to take action sooner rather than later— waiting to see if your child will "catch up" is never the solution.

    I truly believe in the power of early intervention, as it can lead to even better outcomes for your child. If you have any questions or would like a free consultation, I'm here to support you every step of the way!

  • If we identify a need for more insight into your child's speech, language, or feeding skills, we'll schedule a thorough evaluation. This may involve a mix of formal and informal assessments, observations, and engaging interviews with you and your child.

    Typically, the evaluation will take 1-2 sessions, lasting between 1 to 1.5 hours. Once we have the results, we'll sit down together to discuss our findings and decide on the best next steps for your child's growth.

  • After the assessment, we’ll work together to create a personalized therapy plan that focuses on your child's specific needs and outlines how often we’ll meet.

    Each private therapy session lasts 30 minutes, which includes 25 minutes of engaging treatment followed by 5 minutes dedicated to parent education.

    We can schedule these sessions weekly or every other week, depending on what works best for your family. We're excited to partner with you on this journey!
